David Steen - Over 35 years in telecom. Dave is Founder and CEO of Teleplus, and a principal contract negotiator. He is a contract and SLA expert and international authority on telecom regulations and developing technology. He heads all foreign contract negotiations. He is also a long-time member of the Society of Communications Technology Consultants International (SCTC).

Town Crier Consulting (TCC) is the Dallas-based headquarters serving Teleplus' clients in the Southwest as well as other parts of the country. Town Crier Consulting has extensive expertise meeting the needs of enterprises for consultation while reducing their telecom expenditures.

Tracy Venters, CEO of TCC - Over 25 years' experience in the telecom and IT industries. Prior to becoming an independent consultant, she held several senior level roles within the telecom industry. She has extensive experience with unified communications and cloud computing. Her cross-functional experience spans marketing, business development, operations and engineering as a key contributor bringing solutions to market that are both profitable and sustainable while mitigating risks. Previous employers included Nortel, Sonus, Intel, Aastra and Mitel.

Mitchell Gassaway, CFO of TCC - Over 30 years' experience in the world of finance. He earned his BBA in Finance from Hardin Simmons University. His extensive experience auditing, underwriting and analyzing portfolios is crucial when it comes to helping clients manage risk, adhere to compliance while increasing efficiencies and maximizing bottom line. Previously he has held several executive level positions with companies such as Lee and Mason Financial Services, Bank One and American Eagle Airline.

Willis Miller - Over 40 years in telecom. Willis was director of telecom for Peavey Corporation prior its merger with ConAgra, then Director of Telecom for the State of Minnesota before joining Teleplus in 1989. Willis is an AT&T and Sprint contract expert.

Mark Pfeifer - Over 30 years in telecom, Mark is an expert in managed data and voice services. Prior to joining Teleplus, Mark was IT Operations Director for The Schwan Food Company. A certified ITIL Service Manager, Mark specializes in complex data, voice and managed service negotiations for multinationals.

Ben Coleman - President, Coleman Group, Inc. Retired NBA player, degree in business communications, over 25 years of business experience in a variety of areas, including communications and real estate investment. Coleman Group, Inc. is a representative for Teleplus Consulting, Inc.

David Steen, Jr. - Business Development Director and IT Manager. In charge of soliciting new accounts, making presentations to prospects and manages Teleplus' technical needs, day-to-day operations and performance of the company server as well as troubleshoot problems with hardware, software and network operations.

Agustin Argelich, Director

Agustin Argelich, Telecom Engineer by La Salle University of Barcelona, a 25 year veteran of the telecommunications industry who is the owner, founder and principal consultant of Argelich Ingenieros, an independent Telecommunications and Hi-Tech Systems Engineering and Consultancy company. He founded the company after the Barcelona '92 Olympic Games. He was one of the youngest project leaders in the Barcelona '92 Olympic Organizing Committee as Technological Director of the IX Paralympic Games. He has led significant voice, data and video network projects in Europe for business and also for public organizations. He also has deep expertise in telecom expenses management, helping organizations to optimize their telecom cost. He is a member of the Society of Communications Technology Consultants International, www.sctcconsultants.org. He was elected Vice President of SCTC in 2007. After his period as vice president he currently is serving as Board Member and Chairman International Affairs Committee. Before the Olympic games, Agustin worked as Telecom Manager in Asco Nuclear Power Plant and served as Lieutenant in Spanish Air Force, near one year in Zaragoza USA and Spanish Common Air Base. Mr. Battles has 35 years of industry experience in direct end user voice telecommunications evaluation, technical and project consulting, and applied market and subject research. His voice and personal computer-related consulting experience includes comprehensive baseline assessments, business requirements analysis, RFP preparation, proposal evaluation, technical evaluation and support, and implementation project management. Mr. Battles' current sphere of activities includes IP Telephony, business case and TCO development, contact center, strategic planning, and implementation management in the converged world. Martha Buyer provides guidance and counsel to clients from both the technical and legal perspectives in identifying communications needs and developing corporate communications strategies. Prior to becoming an attorney, she was a network engineer for two major financial institutions and a large consulting firm, so she is intimately familiar with the issues faced by end users. Currently she directs the acquisition of telecommunications projects and services (i.e. traditional and IP services to meet both short and long term goals), as well as drafting documents for start up service providers. She has published extensively on a variety of telecommunications topics She is a valuable legal resource for members of the Society of Communications Technology Consultants International.

Michael Finneran, Principal

Wireless Hardware, Software, Security Expert

Mr. Finneran is an independent consultant specializing in wireless and mobility with over 35 years experience in the networking field. His firm, dBrn Associates, provides technology assessment, wireless cost control, contract negotiations, project management, and training. Mr. Finneran wrote the book Voice Over Wireless LANs- The Complete Guide (Elsevier, 2008), though his expertise spans all wireless technologies including cellular, 3G/4G, WiMAX, and fixed mobile convergence. He has also published numerous research reports, white papers, and writes regularly on wireless and mobility for NoJitter.com and UCStrategies.com.

Often sought out as a speaker, Mr. Finneran makes frequent appearances at industry trade shows and conferences including InterOp, Mobile Business Expo, Mobile Explosion and VoiceCon, where he now chairs the wireless and mobility track. In the consulting area, he has provided assistance on network design, market assessment, and strategic planning to wireline and wireless carriers, equipment vendors, end users, investment firms, and a number of government agencies. As an educator, he has conducted over 2500 training seminars on networking topics and has taught in the Graduate Telecommunications program at Pace University, and conducted programs at the Center for the Study of Data Processing at Washington University in St. Louis. His courses are now offered through Telecom + UC Training.

As a member of the Society of Communications Technology Consultants International, Mr. Finneran holds a Bachelor degree from Manhattan College and a Master's Degree from the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.


David Grill, President

David Grill has 30+ years of experience in the voice and data telecommunications industry working both as an independent consultant for the last seventeen years and previously as a manager for major corporate users of telecom products and services. He has done extensive work in managing the full life cycle of major projects, from converting the business requirements into a technical RFP, to evaluating vendor proposals, to making a recommendation, to managing and coordinating the vendors through the implementation. His experience includes Wide Area Networks for voice and data, Contact Center applications, E-911 implementation, Business Continuity Planning and cellular contract negotiations. He has worked closely with, and is familiar with the product lines of Cisco, Nortel Networks, Siemens, Avaya, NEC ShoreTel, and Mitel, and is well acquainted with the product differences of small niche players in the industry. As an independent consultant David has worked with clients in a number of business sectors, including banking, legal, K-12 education, manufacturing, professional services, and shipping. He is extremely skilled in translating business requirements into technical specifications and in translating the technical abilities of the vendors into a language that business managers can understand. In managing large projects he is able to keep all players, including those not directly involved in the telecom side of the project, working together to meet the client's requirements and expectations. Mr. Grill is an active member of the Society of Communications Technology Consultants International and past Executive Vice President. Richard L. Hathaway, Principal

Richard Hathaway has over 40 years of telecommunications industry experience as a consultant, end user and service provider in a wide range of strategic and operational environments.
